Catseyes are a two part component. The first being the depressible insert and the second part is the cast iron base. Made from Grey Iron, this base provides great protection for the rubber insert and is built to handle heavy traffic and the impact of snowploughs. The casting helps transfer the weight of vehicles directly to the ground. The road studs are set into the road surface making them a permanent solution.
